Don Davis
The man who is devoted to both training himself and teaching others boxing.
The Don Davis Boxing Academy (DDBA) was founded a few years ago by Richard Davis in remembrance of his father, Don Davis, a renowned coach of world-class boxers including Denis Andries, Howard Eastman and Errol Christie, among others. In a short time, Richard has assembled a team of highly qualified England Boxing coaches with extensive knowledge and experience and a commitment to develop accomplished and successful boxers, male and female, junior and senior, going forward.
Don Davis' Career
Don Davis had a total of 39 amateur fights through the years of 1963-1970, with a record of 17 wins - 21 losses - 1 draw in the welterweight division. Don Davis then proceeded into coaching where he was able to coach multiple boxers to victory in their amateur and professional boxing careers.

Don Davis has a prominent presence in the gym, helping train all of our boxers, and taking amateur boxers to professional boxing.

Our gym is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 18:00 till 21:00
